Notifications and the daily digest

The bell in the top bar collects everything that happened on your files: uploads, stale documents, completed checklists, files assigned to you.

Under Notifications → preferences, each event type has two switches — in-app (the bell) and email — per person, so your processor can get upload pings while you only hear about completions. Per-upload emails are off by default (they get noisy on busy files).

The Daily digest is one morning email summarizing yesterday across all your files — the safety net that lets you turn individual emails off without flying blind. Toggle it in the same preferences grid.
